Is the crew your own, or are moves farmed out?
Ours, start to finish. On The Mark keeps a seven-truck fleet at the Walzem Rd yard, staffed by uniformed movers on our own payroll, licensed and insured, with Texas and interstate authority on file. Your job is never handed to a broker.
How is a move priced?
Two movers and a truck are $129/hr, or $189/hr with a third, on a two-hour minimum. Figure a studio around $380–$520 and a two-bedroom around $820–$1,240, always given to you as a written band first. Your $75 deposit lands on the final total.
What does “on the mark” actually mean?
Two things at once: an exact quote and a punctual crew. You get a specific arrival time instead of a four-hour window, and a flat figure that already has the stairs and the heavy pieces built in.
Is the number you quote the number I pay?
Yes. Stairs, long carries, and the awkward pieces are already priced in, so what you put your name to is what it costs.
Do you handle military PCS moves?
All the time, this is Military City. We coordinate base access and the housing-office move-out clock around Randolph, Fort Sam Houston, and Lackland, and we shape the plan around your report date.
Hot tubs, pool tables, pianos, can you take those?
Yes. Spas start at $425, slate tables come apart and get re-leveled, and pianos and safes ride the boards and dollies built for them, each one written up in advance.
